Personal Injury/WC Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Personal Injury and/or Workers Compensation Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team.

We're looking for someone who is not only highly skilled in civil litigation but also demonstrates exceptional work ethic and the ability to work autonomously. Case load is Half litigation and half pre-litgation and will eventually become strictly litigation.

Please do not apply without at least 3 years experience in Florida Personal Injury Litigation or Florida Workers Compensation. You will NOT be considered without it.

Duties

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation to include drafting of the Complaint, disclosures and discovery through Trial if necessary.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and prepare necessary documentation.
• Manage case files using PCLaw and iManage systems.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
• Propound and respond to discovery.
• Coordinate interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
• Scheduling meetings, hearings and managing attorney calendars.
• Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and electronic documents related to ongoing cases.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
• Preference to those paralegals with case management software such as PCLaw and iManage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
