Job Summary
The Personal Insurance Private Client Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to attract and retain high-net-worth clients. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership, innovate, and influence the Personal Insurance Department. They assess client risks, provide tailored insurance solutions, and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Drive growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new high-value accounts meeting UNICO Private Client criteria to achieve and exceed annual sales goals. Conduct comprehensive needs-based assessments to recommend appropriate insurance coverage.

Present and explain options, benefits, and pricing for potential clients.

Proactively pursue continuous learning, while leveraging internal expertise and cutting-edge tools to deliver an exceptional, client-first experience.

Develops and nurtures productive relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork to drive organizational success.

Maintain accurate client records in the Agency Management System.

Complete all necessary documentation and applications for new policies.

Ensure a smooth transition for hand-off to the Private Client Account Manager. In partnership with an Account Servicing team, maintains client contacts ensuring account retention

Stay updated on industry trends, carrier products, and changes in coverage options.

Attend community events, networking groups, and industry functions to expand your influence and position yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Develop Centers of Influence such as real estate agents, wealth managers, mortgage brokers, car dealerships, jewelers, art galleries, and other referral sources. This should be included in your sales plan.

Identifies target industry and/or market segment (i.e. small commercial) to focus network building, prospecting, and development of specialized knowledge and expertise on common coverage situations and industry trends

Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate process of transactions and other responsibilities

Proactively identifies and coordinates cross-selling opportunities to Employee Benefits and Commercial Insurance Departments for solicitation of those lines of business.
Requirements:
Professional Requirements

Education: An associate degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience is required.

Experience: Prior experience in Private Client personal lines insurance sales.
Familiar with major Private Client insurance carriers, underwriting guidelines, and experience using CRM and lead generation tools. -
Licensure: Current Property & Casualty insurance license.

Physical Demands | Working Environment

This is a full-time position.

Days and hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This role’s physical exertion is sedentary and takes place in an office environment.
