The Opportunity

As a Personal Lines Account Manager II, you will take ownership of managing a book of business while delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who brings strong skills in policy servicing, client retention, and risk assessment. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless account management and proactive policy solutions. You Will:

  • Manage a book of business, proactively addressing client needs.
  • Conduct account reviews to identify coverage gaps and assess risk exposure.
  • Provide expert guidance on policy options, endorsements, and renewals.
  • Handle claims inquiries, certificates of insurance, premium audits, loss control recommendations, and billing questions with professionalism.
  • Assess risk exposure, recommend tailored coverage solutions, and identify cross‑sell opportunities to strengthen client protection.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to ensure accurate policy placement and strong relationships.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the agency management system.
  • Conduct renewal review calls to evaluate coverage needs, discuss market conditions, and identify potential gaps.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in insurance account management.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverage options, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts independently and communicate professionally across all platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education in Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with high‑net‑worth or complex accounts.
  • Previous experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Familiarity with agency management systems and underwriting processes.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
