Responsibilities
- Actively engage with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote personal lines insurance products.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing quotes, policy applications, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize marketing strategies to attract new clients while maintaining excellent customer service for current policyholders.
- Communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively, ensuring clients understand their coverage options.
- Assist clients with benefits administration related to their policies and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Valid P&C license is required; prior experience in insurance sales or retail sales is highly desirable.
- Proven success in outside sales, telemarketing, or customer-focused environments demonstrating strong negotiation skills.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse client bases.
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to explain policies clearly and build rapport with clients.
- Familiarity with sales administration tools, marketing techniques, and benefits management is advantageous.
- Experience working within HIPAA guidelines or other regulatory standards related to customer confidentiality is preferred.
