Pest Control Technician

Job Overview:
Mosquito Shield is excited to continue building a team of entry level and experienced Technicians/Applicators. If you have the right attitude, are self-motivated and you're a people person that understands what it takes to provide excellent customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply. We will train the right person(s), paid training is provided however experience and a state pesticide license is a plus! You'll be working outside, servicing our customer's properties throughout the DFW area and our season begins in April and goes through early November depending on weather.

Duties:
- Provide mosquito control services to 15-25 homes per day

- Treat properties with precision and expertise.

- Expertly answer frequently asked customer questions

- Manage your route with efficiency and professionalism

- Maintain all equipment used

- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork

- Position starts early between 7:30 - 8:30 am with a set route for the day. Your day begins in Grand Prairie each day

- Work week is Monday -Friday with an occasional Saturday (work is based on weather and rain and/or wind can impact our ability to treat customer's yards)

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required

- Ability to carry a 60-65 lb backpack sprayer

- This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently

- Successfully complete all state and Mosquito Shield required training

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

- Must be able to commute to and from work. Each day will begin in Grand Prairie
