pest control technician cum driver

1. Driving Responsibilities

• Operate pest control vehicles safely within Dubai city limits and designated areas.
• Ensure timely transportation of pest control teams and equipment to various locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil, brakes, tires, fuel) to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to Dubai traffic laws and municipality driving protocols.

2. Pest Control Operation Responsibilities

• Assist in pest control operations, including spraying, fumigation, and baiting for rodents, insects, and other pests.
• Handle, operate, and maintain pest control equipment such as sprayers, foggers, and chemical tanks.
• Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and ensure proper protective gear is worn.
• Identify pest infestations and assist in implementing appropriate control measures under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including areas treated and chemicals used.

3. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all operations comply with Dubai Municipality guidelines, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards.
• Participate in regular safety training and implement risk prevention measures.
• Properly store chemicals and equipment in compliance with hazardous material guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies such as pest infestations or accidental chemical spills.

4. Administrative & Reporting Duties

• Maintain logbooks of vehicle use, maintenance, and pest control activities.
• Report any operational issues, incidents, or unusual pest patterns to supervisors.
• Assist in inventory management of chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Coordinate with other municipal teams for scheduling pest control operations.

5. Teamwork & Customer Interaction

• Work closely with other pest control operators and field staff.
• Occasionally interact with residents or business owners, explaining the pest control process when required.
• Provide support for municipal campaigns or public health initiatives related to pest management.

Key Skills Required:

• Valid UAE driving license (usually Light Vehicle – L category or higher depending on vehicle type).
• Knowledge of pest control techniques and chemical handling.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle/equipment maintenance.
• Attention to detail, safety awareness, and record-keeping skills.

Pay: From AED2,200.00 per month
