Pest Control Technician- Start Tech

This role is essential in setting the foundation for ongoing pest management by delivering thorough first-time treatments and excellent customer service. No experience? No problem, we provide an extensive paid training. As a Pest Control Technician - Start Tech, you'll embark on a dynamic journey to protect homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pest control techniques and the use of various equipment. Work Schedule

• Start time: 10:00 AM daily
• End time: Up to 9:00 PM depending on route and workload
• Plenty of hours available- Typical work week consists of 45-55hrs
• 5 day work weeks (Working: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat // Off: Sun, Fri)

Requirements

Duties

• Assist with pest identification and treatment using safe, effective methods to eliminate common pests such as insects, rodents, and other nuisances.
• Support the application of pest control products while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct outdoor inspections of lawns, gardens, and landscapes to identify pest activity and assess conditions for lawn care or farming needs.
• Operate hand tools to perform maintenance tasks and improve outdoor spaces.
• Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while maintaining a clean driving record; assist with route planning as needed.
• Help set up and maintain equipment used for pest control
• Communicate professionally with customers to explain services performed and provide recommendations for ongoing pest prevention

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn about pest management techniques, and the safe handling of products and tools.
• Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or landscaping equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving company vehicle.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
