Are you ready to take your love for animals to the next level? Cozy Care Pet Services is a thriving, growing business in Metro Detroit, and we are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Manager + Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our leadership team.

To start, we will train you on pet sitting and dog walking so you have familiarity with the backend of our business. After you feel comfortable and confident with the pet care aspect of the business, we will then train you in daily operations and personnel management.

The Perks & Pay

• Starting Rate for Pet Sitting and Dog Walking: $13.00 per 30-minute visit + tips + bonuses (Plus additional pet pay!)
• Starting Rate for Pet Care Manager: $16 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Earn a $200 bonus after 90 days of successful performance!

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Manager and Pet Care Specialist, you will be the face of our premium pet care, providing:

• Expert Pet Care: Professional pet sitting visits + dog walking (including walking some large, strong pups!) and care for cats and other small household pets. Must be comfortable and confident caring for dogs, cats, and various small pets.
• Team Leadership: Assisting with various management duties as needed to keep our operations running smoothly.
• Essential Care: Feeding, watering, mail pick-up, scooping litter, yard cleanup/poop scooping, playtime, and administering medication.
• Schedule that Alternates Depending on Client Needs: early morning, afternoon, and late evening visits, including overnight pet sitting in client homes.

Where We Work

You’ll be visiting furry friends across the Metro Detroit area, focusing on locations within a 30-minute radius of Livonia. Our primary service cities include:

• Livonia (Hub), Canton, Dearborn, Farmington & Farmington Hills, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, Redford, Westland, and West Bloomfield (Extended/Stretch area).

What We’re Looking For

• The Afternoon Expert: Afternoon availability (between 12noon-3pm) is REQUIRED, along with flexibility for mornings and evenings.
• Reliability is Royalty: You must have your own reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License for commuting.
• Holiday Heroes: We are busiest when our clients are traveling, so working on or around most holidays is REQUIRED.
• Experience & Grit: Must be comfortable handling and medicating pets of all sizes and temperaments (pre-screened for your safety!).
• Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to take direction and feedback well.
