Oak Grove Pet Sitting & Dog Walking, LLC is an award-winning dog walking and pet care company serving Decatur and surrounding areas, including zip codes 30033, 30345, 30329, and 30084. We provide dog walking, cat care, and pet sitting services between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

We are currently hiring part-time Pet Care Professionals who are passionate about animals, dependable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional care to our clients' pets.

IMPORTANT: This position requires broad availability, including weekends and holidays. Our busiest times are often weekends, school breaks, and holiday periods when our clients travel. Applicants seeking limited weekday-only schedules will not be a good fit for this role.

Candidates must live within 10 miles of our service area zip codes.

• Average earnings of $22-$26 per hour

PLEASE NOTE:
This position is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income. The more availability you have, the more opportunities you will receive.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must have a reliable, insured vehicle
• Must own a smartphone with photo/video capability and GPS
• Must live within 10 miles of our service area
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Must have experience caring for dogs and/or cats
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and communicate professionally
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be available to work most major holidays
• Must have broad daytime and evening availability

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Animal shelter volunteer experience
• Veterinary office experience
• Dog daycare or kennel experience
• Dog training experience
• Professional pet care experience

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Visit pets in their homes
• Walk dogs for 20-60 minutes
• Feed pets and refresh water bowls
• Clean litter boxes
• Administer basic pet care according to client instructions
• Provide companionship, enrichment, and playtime
• Send visit updates and photos through our pet care software
• Occasionally perform overnight pet sitting assignments
