Frances & Friends L.L.C. is a small, woman-owned business providing trusted, top-quality pet care in the Financial District, Seaport, Battery Park City, Tribeca, SoHo, West Village, West Chelsea, Flatiron District, Dumbo, Downtown Brooklyn, and nearby neighborhoods.

Position Details:

Availability: Weekday daytime availability required; evenings, weekends & holidays preferred.
Compensation:

• $23/hour walk ($28 on weekends)
• $15/30-minute walk ($18 on weekends)
• +$5 per additional dog
• Pet Sitting: $65/night
• Higher pay rates on holidays!

Hours: Typically 15–45 per week, depending on your availability and client demand.

What You’ll Do:

• Walk and care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
• Provide owners with high quality updates and adorable pet photos.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Represent Frances & Friends with professionalism and care.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with animals (professional or personal).
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Confident handling multiple dogs at once.
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
• A true love and passion for animals!

Physical Demands:

• Comfort walking several miles per shift and navigating NYC terrain (stairs, uneven sidewalks, etc.).
• Comfortability walking in all weather conditions.
• Ability to safely manage dogs up to 120 lbs on leash.

Hiring Process & Timeline:

• Applications close on June 1st.
• Selected candidates will be invited to a first-round interview (June 2nd - 8th, evenings after 5:30 PM).
• Final-round interviews will be held on Wednesday, June 10th.
• Paid training begins the following week for new hires.
