Pet Care Specialist/Pet Sitter and Dog Walker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to pets while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners, ensuring their needs are met while fostering a positive experience.

Duties

• Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, and exercising.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas where pets are housed or cared for.
• Participate in training sessions for pet handling/large breed walking and care techniques.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care or pet care services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with customer service principles to effectively engage with pet owners.
• Skills in animal handling, including experience with kennel operations, pet sitting, grooming, or dog training are highly valued.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.62 per hour

• We travel to pet sit and stay overnight at people's home. Are you willing to do overnight pet sitting between Tacoma and Seattle, with most jobs being in Puyallup, Sumner, Bonney Lake and Buckley? If you are unwilling to do overnight pet sitting, you will not be considered for the job.
