A Pet Shop Retail Salesperson in the UAE is responsible for assisting customers with pet-related products, achieving sales targets, maintaining store presentation, and providing basic pet care guidance. The role requires strong customer service skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers professionally.
- Recommend pet food, accessories, toys, aquariums, grooming products, and healthcare items.
- Explain product features, pet nutrition, and basic pet care.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
- Handle billing, POS transactions, and cash management.
- Maintain cleanliness and visual merchandising of the shop.
- Arrange shelves and monitor stock availability and expiry dates.
- Assist with inventory counting and stock replenishment.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally.
- Ensure proper handling and care of pets within the shop.
- Follow company policies, hygiene, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
- Pet industry experience is an added advantage.
- Passion for animals and willingness to learn pet care.
- Good English communication skills.
- Basic computer and billing system knowledge.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Physically fit for stock handling and shop activities.
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
