Pet Sitter

Are you an animal lover with a passion for caring for pets? We’re seeking enthusiastic and responsible Pet Sitters to provide exceptional care and companionship to animals in their owners’ absence. As a Pet Sitter, you will ensure animals are safe, happy, and well-cared-for, following owner instructions and maintaining high standards of pet care.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, walking, administering medication, and playtime activities.
• Monitor pets’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns or unusual symptoms to owners or veterinary professionals as needed.
• Follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners to ensure consistent and personalized care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including cleaning up after them and ensuring their living areas are hygienic.
• Offer companionship and mental stimulation through engaging activities tailored to each pet’s needs.
• Handle animal restraint safely during grooming, medication administration, or vet visits when necessary.
• Communicate regularly with pet owners regarding their pets’ well-being and any notable observations during visits.

Skills

• Strong animal handling skills with experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets.
• Knowledge of dog training techniques to assist with basic obedience or behavioral issues.
• Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable for understanding animal health needs.
• Ability to perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
• Experience with animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during care procedures.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning or moving supplies and equipment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $1,000.00 per month
