Job Summary

Duties

• Provide daily pet sitting services including feeding, walking, administering medication, and engaging pets in play and exercise
• Monitor pets’ health and behavior, recognizing signs of distress or illness and communicating with pet owners or veterinary professionals as needed
• Handle animal restraint safely during grooming, veterinary visits, or medication administration
• Perform basic pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing to keep animals comfortable and clean
• Assist with home visits
• Maintain cleanliness of pet areas, kennels, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
• Manage heavy lifting when necessary

Qualifications

• Experience with animals
• Strong ability to handle dogs, cats, and other animals safely and compassionately
• 18 or Older
• Must pass background check
• Have reliable transportation/insurance
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for animal transport or equipment setup
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
