Pet Sitter and Walker- Part Time (One Year Experience)

Location: Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Erie (southwestern border), South Boulder, or Western Broomfield, CO (west of 287/Flatiron Mall area)
Hours: 10-15 hours/week (3 weekdays and 1-2 weekend days per week any time between 7am and 8pm)
Pay: $20–$26/hour + gas compensation + annual raises

Are you an energetic animal lover who thrives on being active outside—rain, snow, or shine? Off Road Paws is seeking a responsible, professional pet care specialist to join our team. You’ll spend your days jogging, hiking, and walking with dogs of all ages and personalities and pet sitting for dogs and kitties, helping them stay happy and healthy in beautiful Colorado.

This is a physically demanding job:
You must be ready and excited to walk, jog, and hike several miles a day, often with multiple dogs. If you’re looking for a fun, active way to earn supplemental income and you genuinely love animals, this could be the perfect fit!

What You’ll Do

• Jog, walk, and hike with dogs in the local area
• Provide pet sitting services (dog, cats and occasional pocket pets), including feeding, playtime, and medication administration
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Work 2-3 weekdays and 1-2 weekend days per week (hours can range anytime between 7am and 8pm)

Who We’re Looking For

• You MUST live in Lafayette, Louisville, South Boulder, or Western Broomfield.

Applications from outside these areas will not be considered due to commute requirements.

• Physically fit and active: Able to walk, jog, and hike several miles a day, in all weather
• Professional pet care experience required (dog walking, pet sitting, animal handling, etc.)
• Comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have a 4WD or AWD vehicle that can safely transport 2–3 dogs, reliably commute in snow or rainy conditions, and be okay with dog hair and dirt!
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred:
• CPR certification (we’ll pay for your class)
• Experience administering medication to pets
• Management or leadership experience
