Responsibilities

• Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring safe and enjoyable outings that meet each pet’s specific needs
• Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and engaging in stimulating play activities
• Assist with techniques to promote good behavior and socialization
• Maintain detailed records of pet activities, behaviors, and any health concerns observed during visits
• Ensure all animals are handled with compassion and patience, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Experience

• Prior experience with animals is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dog handling and animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and caregivers
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns confidently
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving strong dogs, stairs, etc, when necessary for animal care
• Strong communication skills and comfortable using a smart phone, must use proper grammar and spelling when communicating with clients
• Ability to adapt to different situations quickly and respond appropriately
