Pet Sitter / Dog Walker (Part-Time)

Do you love animals and enjoy being out and about during the day? We’ve spent 20 years earning the trust of local pet families — now we’re looking for compassionate animal lovers to join our team and help us keep tails wagging.

This role is perfect for someone looking to work a few hours a day — especially if you're free mid-day while the kids are at school or you're seeking a flexible, active side gig.

What You'll Do:

- Walk dogs of all sizes and breeds

- Provide drop-in pet care for dogs, cats, and occasionally fish, reptiles, or horses

- Feed, refresh water, clean up after pets, and administer medication (if needed)

- Water plants, bring in mail, and offer general peace of mind to traveling clients

When You'll Work:

- Mid-day (10am–2pm) availability is a big plus — that’s our busiest time!

- Visits occur any time between 7am–9pm, depending on client needs — usually short check-ins spaced throughout the day

- Weekend availability: at least 2 weekends per month

- Clients travel during holidays, so we appreciate team members who can help cover a few of those high-demand days.

- Expect steady part-time hours most weeks, especially if you’re available mid-day and during peak summer seasons. 10-15 hours per week

-No office clock-ins — you begin your day from home, and travel to client homes within the Nashville & Rocky Mount, NC area

What We're Looking For:

- You love animals (especially the quirky, energetic, and drooly ones)

- Experience in pet sitting, vet clinics, or doggy daycare is a bonus, but not required

- Comfortable with dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, even horses — and can handle outdoor visits in all types of weather

- Reliable and professional — our clients trust us with their homes and furry family members

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently

- Must be 18+, with a valid driver’s license, clean background check, and reliable transportation

Pay & Perks:

- $15/hour as a W-2 employee — with standard tax withholding

- You’re paid for time between visits — once you start your route, you’re on the clock until the day’s last stop
