Overview

Applicants should live in or near the Charlotte, Huntersville, or Cornelius areas and be available for morning shifts (approximately 6:00 AM–10:00 AM), with some flexible availability between 10:00 AM and 9:30 PM as needed. Overnight availability is a plus and may be available at times.

We’re seeking compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Pet Sitters to join our growing team! At Pet Care Club of Lake Norman–Concord, we care for all kinds of pets in their home environment—offering belly rubs, barn checks, walks, feedings, and peace of mind for pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home pet care: feeding, walking, administering medications, cleaning up messes
• Follow detailed client instructions and pet routines
• Use proper animal handling and restraint techniques for safety
• Communicate clearly with clients via text or app (updates + cute photos encouraged!)
• Observe and report any behavioral or health concerns
• Reinforce training when requested by the client
• Perform light home care duties (mail, trash, sweeping, etc.)
• Lift up to 30–40 lbs as needed (food bags, pets, supplies)
• Arrive on time and manage multiple visits throughout the day with strong time management skills

Requirements

• Must live within or near our service area (see below)
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and smartphone
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and following instructions
• Must be 18 years or older with 2+ years of independent work experience with pets, must be reliable and be able to provide references

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in pet sitting, dog walking, vet tech, kennel/grooming, or animal care
• Pet CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to certify—training offered)
• Experience with large dogs, shy pets, or multi-pet households
• Excellent customer service and reliability
• Bonus: grooming or light training skills
