Pet Sitter (NW Gainesville)

Pay: $17–$22/hour + tips + bonuses

About the Role (***PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING***)

Pet Sitters of Gainesville is hiring a stellar Pet Sitter to join our team of animal lovers in NW Gainesville! This position is perfect for someone who’s reliable, energetic in the mornings, and looking for supplemental income with a consistent schedule.

You’ll provide trusted care to our clients’ pets, including dog walks, cat visits, feeding, waste cleanup, and sending warm, detailed updates to clients.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (consistent schedule)
  • 3 evenings a week from 4:30 to 6:00 PM
  • Rotating weekends: Every other Saturday & Sunday
  • Holidays: Availability preferred and favored (bonus pay available)

Requirements

  • Must live in NW Gainesville (i.e.: Santa Fe college are, Newberry Rd, NW 39th ave, etc).
  • Reliable, fuel-efficient car for daily commuting (sedan type ideal).
  • Comfortable with all pets—large dogs, barky/nervous dogs, shy cats.
  • Strong communication skills (in person & written).
  • Physically able to walk up to 5 hours/day in Florida weather (hot or cold)
  • Commitment: 6 months minimum.
