Pet Sitter/Dog Walker

We are hiring immediately for dependable, animal-loving individuals to join our team as pet sitters and dog walkers. This is a flexible, per-job position visiting pets in their homes.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling based on client needs

Peak service times are typically:

6:00–9:00 AM

11:00 AM–2:00 PM

6:00–9:00 PM

Additional visits may be scheduled outside of these hours

Team members work a rotating schedule (you will not work every morning and every evening)

One guaranteed day off each week

Rotating weekends required

Pay

Contract, per-job pay (1099)

The more visits you complete, the more you earn

Job Duties

Travel from home to home to care for pets

Feeding, fresh water, and basic care

Dog walking and exercise

Clean up after pets (litter boxes, yards, etc.)

Administer medications if needed (with instruction)

Provide companionship, attention, and playtime

Follow detailed written instructions for each home

Send updates and photos through our app after each visit

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old

Valid driver’s license

Reliable personal vehicle

Smartphone (we use an app for scheduling, GPS tracking, and communication)

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and stay organized

Comfortable caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and occasional farm animals

Ability to follow detailed instructions closely

Background check required

This is not a casual or “when I feel like it” position. Pets rely on us for consistent, on-time care.

Must be reliable and punctual every time

Must be able to commit to scheduled visits.

Must be comfortable working early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Last-minute call-outs or no-shows will not be tolerated

Additional Details

This is a contract, per-job position

Most visits are in Sneads Ferry and Holly Ridge, with rare visits in Hampstead

Ideal for someone local looking for flexible, active work and supplemental income
