Pet Sitter/Dog Walker - Afternoons

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and passionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team. As a Pet Sitter and Dog Walker you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of pets and provide them with the exercise and care they need. This is a great opportunity for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors.

Responsibilities:
- Visit pets in their homes and provide basic necessities such as food, exercise, attention, and playtime
- Walk dogs on a regular schedule, ensuring they get the exercise they need
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor the behavior and health of pets while in your care
- Report any concerns or issues to the owner or supervisor
- Follow specific instructions provided by owners regarding their pet's care
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for both yourself and the pets
- Communicate with clients via app

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals
- Knowledge of pet behavior and basic obedience commands
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some dogs may be large or require assistance
- Strong animal restraint skills to ensure the safety of both yourself and the dogs
- A genuine love for animals and a passion for providing excellent pet care
- Strong communication skills and comfortable using a smart phone, must use proper grammar and spelling when communicating with clients
- must be able to adapt to different situations quickly and respond appropriately

If you are an enthusiastic individual who loves working with animals, we would love to hear from you. We are currently looking for afternoon help Monday through Friday, and Saturday. Does not need to be all days, but Saturday is a MUST.
