Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pet Sitter located in Washington, DC. The Pet Sitter will be responsible for tasks including feeding, walking, and providing companionship to animals, as well as maintaining their overall well-being. Additional responsibilities include pet sitting, ensuring the safety and comfort of pets while their owners are away, and potentially light house sitting duties. Clear communication with pet owners about their pet's status and needs is also a critical part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Animal Care and Pet Care, with a strong understanding of basic pet needs and behavior
• Proficiency in Pet Sitting and House Sitting tasks, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of both pets and property
• Strong Communication skills to provide regular updates to pet owners and address any concerns effectively
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and a genuine passion for working with animals
• Ability to follow specific care instructions and adapt to the needs of individual pets
• Previous experience in pet care roles and familiarity with various animal breeds is a plus
