Fluffs of Luv, LLC is one of the leading pet-sitting companies in Charlotte, NC. Fluffs of Luv services Charlotte and the surrounding areas. We have an immediate need for Pet Sitters who live in 28134, 28273, and 28278. You must be available to work as visits become available. We service clients anywhere from 6 am-1030pm, 7 days a week. We always have a need for coverage in the mornings 6am-230pm and evenings after 430 pm till about 10 pm and on weekends and Holidays. We do have one position available for visits in the am and during the day. Having other availability is helpful as well as we always need help filling in the gaps! You need to live in one of those zip codes to be considered. A typical pet-sitting day may include walking, feeding, medicating, playing with, and cleaning up after dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish. Pet Sitting provides a flexible schedule that will vary weekly based on your availability and the client's needs.

Interested Pet Sitters must possess the following traits, abilities, and tools:

• High School Diploma required. Some College preferred.
• Mature adults (18 or older) with pet sitting and vet tech experience are preferred.
• Commitment to a schedule of availability and follow-through with accepted/scheduled visits. Please indicate the time frames you are applying for, and you must be available for most holidays. Our schedule varies weekly, depending on the client's needs.
• Critical thinking and the ability to solve problems should they arise. Pet Sitting can be unpredictable, whether it is because of the pet you are watching, an alarm that won't turn off, or a key that is tricky to turn, to name a few.
• Be able to leave a client's home secure
• Able to follow directions and perform visits exceeding our client's expectations. It is essential that you are detail-oriented, organized, and patient!
• Know how to navigate around a smartphone and app for your schedule.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to administer oral medication to cats and dogs. Administering insulin injections and fluids is a plus.
• Please only apply if you can pet sit for at least a six-month minimum. (The schedule will vary week to week based on your availability and our client's needs.) We form bonds with our clients and client's pets, so some consistency is important.
• Must be able to use a computer and a smartphone
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and walk 3-5 miles if needed, sometimes in the rain and uphill.
• Must have reliable, insured transportation.
• Must have a clean legal record and background check. One will be run if you are a candidate of interest.
• The position varies from area to area based on clients' needs. Some areas we service can be part-time or just as needed, with a few visits here and there (supplemental income). You will be a W2 employee.
