Duties

• Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining routines
• Take dogs on engaging walks, ensuring proper leash handling and safety protocols
• Monitor pet behavior, ensuring animals are comfortable and stress-free during visits
• Perform basic pet grooming tasks such as brushing or cleaning as needed
• Handle animal restraint safely during care activities or veterinary visits
• Maintain detailed records of pet activities, health status, and any concerns observed
• Respond promptly to pet emergencies or behavioral issues with calmness and professionalism

Requirements

• Proven experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care roles
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods
• Veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus, especially with pet health monitoring
• Familiarity with veterinary procedures and animal handling skills across various species including equine experience preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting pets or supplies)
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
• Passion for animal welfare with a responsible and energetic approach to pet care
