Our founder previously built and sold a successful pet sitting company and has relaunched with renewed purpose, deeper insight, and an even stronger commitment to exceptional pet care and client relationships.

Position Overview: As a Pet Care Specialist, you’ll be providing attentive, loving care to pets while ensuring our clients’ homes remain secure and well-tended. Depending on your availability and proximity, responsibilities may include:

✅Overnight Pet Sitting (12- to 18-hour stays, based on client needs. Please review the website services (https://www.denverpetsittingcompany.com/overnight-pet-sitting) for more details around the overnights)

✅Pet Sitting Visits (20-, 30-, or 60-minute drop-ins)

✅Dog Outings – park visits, drive-thru adventures, pet store trips

✅Concierge Tasks – such as grocery restocking, laundry pickup, or light home care

Denver Pet Sitting Company offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for experienced pet lovers. We look for people who offer a great deal of pet sitting experience and understands the importance of taking care of client’s homes and keeping it running while they are away. Extraordinary communication is key as well.

Please Note:✅ This is a 1099 contractor position with no guaranteed assignments. Please maintain a separate, reliable income source.✅ You’ll work in all seasons and weather conditions, and occasionally handle messy pet moments.✅ You should have hands-on experience with animals—either through personal care or prior work. Include this information when applying.✅ We match visits based on your home location and availability.

Who You Are:

• A mature, detail-oriented individual (21+) with direct experience caring for pets
• Comfortable working solo, entering client homes, and following detailed instructions
• Calm, communicative, and respectful of client property and routines
• Based in or near: Denver, Centennial, Cherry Creek, Cherry Hills, DTC, Englewood, Golden, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, Lone Tree, Castle Pines or Castle Rock
• Able to pass a background check and committed to professional conduct

Requirements to Join the Network:

• Access to a reliable vehicle and ability to travel up to at least 30 minutes for assignments
• Smartphone with email and app capabilities
• Ability to handle various weather conditions and occasional pet messes

Compensation Structure:

• 1099 contractor status — you’ll invoice and manage your own taxes
• Commission-based
• 100% of tips retained

Denver Pet Sitting Company offers two primary services: Overnights and Pet Sitting Visits.

Our overnight service is our most in-demand offering. We provide clients with three different options based on hours. These stays typically range from 1 to 14 nights, with most requests including at least one weekend night. Arrival and departure times vary depending on the client's travel schedule.

➡️ Please note: If you are not available for weekend overnights, this may not be a great fit.

Our Pet Sitting Visits can be scheduled up to four times per day, depending on the client’s needs. Most dog owners request 2–3 visits per day (Morning, Afternoon & Evening), while cat visits are often once daily. As with overnights, many visit requests include weekend days. If you are not available on the weekends, this will not be a good fit for you.
