Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will LIVE IN BROOMFIELD or WESTMINSTER, no more than a 20 min drive to 120/Sheridan, which is within our service area. Candidates from other areas cannot be considered.

Our pet sitters have a passion for animals and possess the necessary skills to provide exceptional pet care in the pets' own home. Rover, Wag, Meowtel and Yorgi pet sitters that want to expand their clientele are welcomed at VIPet Sitter Service.

Individuals with experience working at dog and cat boarding facilities, kennel techs, and those that have extensive background in fostering or working with rescue animals are encouraged to apply.

Duties:
- Provide in-home pet care services including feeding, walking, and playtime
- Administer medications as needed
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding care routines
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pets
- Communicate with pet owners regarding updates on their pets' well-being

Skills:
- Experience in pet sitting and animal care
- Ability to handle various animals including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, reptiles
- Knowledge of basic animal first aid and CPR
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and their pets
- Capability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting, animal restraint, and handling

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in veterinary assistance or veterinary technician roles
- Training in dog behavior or dog training techniques
- Knowledge of administering insulin injections to pets

Must have:

- Valid and current Colorado Driver's license
- Clean background check
- Well running vehicle with exclusive access to use it
- Smartphone and ability to navigate the software (easy learn)

POSITION AVAILABLE

PRIMARY POSITION: Drop-in pet sitter for early morning and late evening hours, Weekends and holidays.

Pay range $26-28 per contact hour (flat rate compensation for each 30 min drop-in completed). This is a 1099 position for an independent contractor.

If you have availability for staying at the client's home 24 hours, with 4-6 hours allowed away from the client home every 24 hour period, compensation is $110-$150/day.
