TIRED OF PEOPLING? Want to get paid for the benefits of pet therapy? aqua dog grooming is looking to expand our services to pet sitting/walking and overnight in home stays. We are looking for energetic, retired folks who want to get out of the house and make some extra cash.

Duties

• Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
• Provide pet sitting services in clients’ homes or designated facilities, including feeding, administering medication, and cleaning up after pets
• Monitor pets’ behavior and health, recognizing signs of distress or illness and reporting concerns promptly
• Assist with basic dog training techniques to promote good behavior during walks and interactions
• Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury to pets or handlers
• Maintain detailed records of pet care activities, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and behavioral observations
• Support pet grooming tasks such as brushing when needed

Skills

• Comfortable animal handling skills with experience with dogs/cats
• Knowledge of animal restraint methods and pet care best practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist with large or heavy animals
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns
• Familiarity with pet grooming techniques and basic animal health monitoring
• Passionate about animal welfare with a proactive attitude towards safety and well-being
