Who We’re Looking For:

A fun, upbeat, community‑minded team member who lights up when a dog (and sometimes cat) walks in the door and enjoys helping neighbors find the perfect food, toy, or treat. Someone who loves learning, loves connecting, and loves making both pets and people feel welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers like they’re old friends — because many of them are
• Share helpful pet‑care tips and guide shoppers to the right products
• Keep the store looking great and stocked with all the goodies pets love
• Ring up purchases with accuracy and friendliness
• Help manage inventory and keep product info up to date
• Create fun, engaging social media content that highlights our pets, products, customers, and community events — and post regularly to keep our DeLand pet family connected
• Assist with online orders, home delivery prep, and scheduling grooming appointments
• Support your teammates and help create a positive, upbeat environment
• Be part of the local pet community — not just a retail shift

Qualifications:

• You genuinely love animals and enjoy helping their humans
• You’re friendly, patient, and great at connecting with people
• You’re organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn
• You're a great storyteller that can create engaging content to educate the end user
• You’re comfortable in a fast‑moving, community‑focused retail setting
• You’re flexible with evenings, weekends, and holidays
• You want to be part of a team that feels like family
