Petroleum Service Technician

Our company consists of the sales, service, and installation of all types of petroleum equipment. We service retail stores, commercial, and government agencies in the Middle Tennessee area. We are currently expanding our operations and are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic to fulfill the position of a petroleum service technician.

Position Summary

Service technicians will complete a combination of on-the-job training and vendor training (classroom setting) which will prepare an individual to become a successful and proficient field technician.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Programming, repair and maintenance of point of sale equipment (POS)
• Programming, repair and maintenance of Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) equipment
• Line and leak detector testing & cathodic protection (CP) testing. This includes filling out test results and any related paperwork.
• Replacement of various boards in dispensers, POS equipment and ATG
• Replacement or repair of hoses, nozzles, filters, meters, and other various components within the hydraulics of the dispenser
• Installation and start-up of new and used dispensers.
• Completing compliance paperwork required by the State of Tennessee
• Keeping track of service vehicle maintenance and maintaining a clean and organized vehicle
• Ordering parts and equipment needed for service calls either directly from vendor or by requesting a purchase order from the office
• Keeping service vehicle stocked with necessary parts and materials.

Experience & Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Clean Driving Record
• Drug Free
• Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds when necessary
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work extended hours during the week when needed and once placed in the on-call rotation, ability to work weekends.
• IT experience required
