We are seeking a skilled and analytical
Petrophysicist to evaluate and interpret subsurface rock and fluid properties
through well log data and core analysis. The successful candidate will work
closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams to support
exploration, development, and production decisions. The role requires strong
technical knowledge of petrophysical evaluation techniques and experience using
industry-standard software and logging tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Petrophysical
Data Conditioning workflow
  • Responsible for quick
interpretation and formation evaluation workflow of well data
  • Integration of the required
well data in Petrophysics application for analysis purpose
  • Well primary logs and
Petrophysical logs loading
  • Perform Petrophysical logs
interpretation such as Porosity-Permeability Logs, Rock Typing, Net Pay model
and cut-off
  • Performing Saturation Height
Modeling
  • Daily Geological Report and Mud
log report interpretation
  • Capability of integrating core
data and Image logs for Petrophysical workflow purpose such as calibration,
fracture interpretation etc.
  • Timely Pore Pressure analysis
from pre-drill location
  • Capability to run 1D
geomechanics workflows like Well Bore Stability, PPFG etc.
  • Contribution in the logging
strategy for the upcoming wells in the drilling campaign

Required Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in
    Geosciences, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, or a related field (Master’s or
    PhD preferred for senior roles).
  • 10+ years of experience in
    petrophysical interpretation and formation evaluation.
  • Proficiency in
    industry-standard software such as DS Petrophysics, Techlog, Geolog, Petrel,
    Interactive Petrophysics (IP), PowerLog or similar
  • Preferred Database
    understanding: OpenWorks, Studio
  • Understanding of advanced
    workflow using sonic logs for acoustic interface modelling.
  • Perform Cement integrity
    assessment using cement bond logging
  • Good communication and
    reporting skills with the ability to explain technical results to
    non-specialists.
