St. George’s College, Mussoorie – a premier 173-year-old all-boys boarding school affiliated with the ICSE Council – invites applications for the position of a Senior Biology Teacher to join our esteemed academic faculty.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons for Classes 9 to 12 (ICSE & ISC levels)
• Conduct laboratory sessions, experiments and practical assessments effectively
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests
• Design innovative lesson plans integrating technology and real-world applications
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and academic enrichment
• Participate actively in school programs, co-curricular activities and pastoral duties
• Contribute to the holistic development of students in a boarding school environment
• May be required to support beyond academic activities as part of residential responsibilities
• Willingness to relocate to Mussoorie and reside on campus as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Biology or Life Sciences from a recognized university
• B.Ed. is compulsory
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level
• Strong subject expertise and practical laboratory knowledge
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passionate educator with a student-centered and innovative teaching approach
• Team player willing to contribute beyond the classroom in a residential setting
