Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate PGT – Business Studies & Entrepreneurship Teacher to handle Senior Secondary classes (Grades 11 & 12 – CBSE). The ideal candidate should possess strong conceptual clarity in Business Studies and Entrepreneurship, with the ability to connect theory to real-life business scenarios. As part of the residential school setup, the teacher will contribute to academic mentoring, evening prep sessions, and campus responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities (KRA – Key Result Areas)

• Academic Delivery
• Teach Business Studies and Entrepreneurship to Classes 11 & 12 as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Deliver well-structured, engaging, and concept-driven lessons.
• Integrate case studies, project work, market analysis, and entrepreneurial activities into teaching.
• Board Exam Preparation
• Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE Board Examinations through revision plans, mock tests, and assessments.
• Guide students in project work and practical components as per CBSE guidelines.
• Student Mentoring & Support
• Provide academic mentoring during evening prep and doubt-clearing sessions.
• Encourage analytical thinking, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial mindset among students.
• Co-curricular & Institutional Support
• Participate in school events, business clubs, entrepreneurship programs, and career guidance initiatives.
• Collaborate with academic teams for curriculum planning and innovation.
• Residential Responsibilities
• Handle assigned residential duties, including dormitory supervision and student welfare.
• Support students’ personal development and discipline as part of campus life.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

• Student academic performance and improvement in internal and board exam results.
• Effective completion of syllabus and revision schedules.
• Quality of lesson planning, assessments, and project guidance.
• Student engagement and participation in business and entrepreneurship activities.
• Timely evaluation, feedback, and academic documentation.
• Active involvement in residential duties and student mentoring.
• Positive feedback from students, parents, and academic leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s Degree in Business Studies / Commerce with B.Ed. (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of teaching experience at Senior Secondary level (CBSE).
• Experience in teaching Entrepreneurship is mandatory.
• Prior experience in a residential school is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Student-focused, empathetic, and committed to holistic development.
• Willingness to join immediately and reside on campus.
