Job Title: Chemistry Teacher
Job Description
The Chemistry Teacher is responsible for teaching Chemistry to secondary and senior secondary students, delivering theoretical and practical knowledge as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board). The role includes lesson planning, conducting laboratory sessions, evaluating student performance, and fostering scientific thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach core topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, acids & bases, organic and inorganic chemistry.
- Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments safely.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and question papers.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical exams.
- Maintain laboratory records and ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Encourage scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in school meetings, training programs, and academic events.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
For PGT Chemistry (Classes 11–12):
- Master’s degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.)
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Relevant teaching experience preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry.
- Practical laboratory handling skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Classroom management abilities.
- Familiarity with smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to motivate and guide students academically.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
