Position: PGT – Chemistry (Grade 11–12 CBSE)
Location: Guru Rajendra Jain International School, Rajgarh, Dhar, Madhya Pradesh
Accommodation: On-campus accommodation with meals provided

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate PGT Chemistry Teacher to teach Grades 11 and 12 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging for senior secondary students preparing for board and competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in Chemistry as per the CBSE curriculum for Grades 11 and 12.
  • Explain fundamental and advanced concepts in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry clearly and effectively.
  • Prepare students for CBSE board exams and competitive exams such as JEE/NEET, as per school policy.
  • Design and evaluate class tests, assignments, and lab experiments to assess student understanding.
  • Supervise and guide students during practical sessions, ensuring adherence to lab safety protocols.
  • Integrate technology, demonstrations, and real-life applications to enhance classroom learning.
  • Maintain detailed lesson plans, student progress records, and periodic assessment data.
  • Collaborate with other subject teachers to plan interdisciplinary activities and academic events.
  • Participate actively in school events, science exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Chemistry with B.Ed (mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Grades 11–12 at a CBSE or equivalent school.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent command over subject matter and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to simplify abstract concepts and engage senior students.
  • Competence in conducting practicals and maintaining lab records.
  • Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns and board exam preparation strategies.
  • Proficient in using digital tools for teaching and assessment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to stay on campus and contribute to the residential school environment.
  • Ability to mentor and guide students beyond classroom hours, including study sessions and doubt-clearing.
  • Participation in academic planning, student counseling, and school community activities.
