PGT Computer Science Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our Matriculation School faculty. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, practical skills in programming and technology, and the ability to inspire students to develop digital literacy and computational thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science/Computer Applications as per the Matriculation curriculum (Classes VI–XII).
• Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive theory and practical sessions.
• Train students in programming languages, office tools, internet applications, and IT fundamentals.
• Maintain and manage the computer lab, ensuring systems are functional and updated.
• Conduct assessments, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Integrate technology-based learning methods in classroom teaching.
• Guide students in computer-based projects, presentations, and competitions.
• Encourage digital responsibility, safe internet practices, and innovation.
• Collaborate with colleagues for academic events, workshops, and exhibitions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / BCA / MCA.
• B.Ed. (mandatory for teaching in Matriculation Schools).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of programming (C, C++, Java, Python), MS Office, database, and web technologies.
• Good communication skills in English (Tamil proficiency will be an added advantage).
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage students effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
