Job Summary

Suraj School, Sector 56, Gurugram, is seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to inspire, guide, and mentor senior secondary students in developing advanced language skills, literary appreciation, and critical thinking. The ideal candidate should possess a strong command of English, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations and competitive tests.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Grades XI and XII as per CBSE curriculum.
• Teach literature, grammar, and writing skills to enhance students’ academic performance.
• Develop students’ critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills through interactive activities.
• Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records.
• Prepare students for CBSE Board Exams with effective revision strategies and practice tests.
• Organize debates, elocution contests, literary clubs, and other English enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure curriculum continuity and academic excellence.
• Guide students in academic projects, research, and co-curricular activities related to English.
• Maintain discipline, decorum, and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programs as required.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Master’s degree in English Literature / English Language or equivalent.
• B.Ed. from a recognized institution (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school at senior secondary level.
• Strong command over English (both spoken and written).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage students through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
• Familiarity with educational technology and smart classroom tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
