Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching & Classroom Management
- Teach English language and literature to senior secondary classes (XI–XII) as per CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
- Maintain an engaging and disciplined classroom environment.
- Conduct regular class tests, formative and summative assessments.
2. Academic Responsibilities
- Ensure syllabus completion as per academic calendar.
- Prepare students for board examinations through practice papers and remedial classes.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain student academic records and performance reports.
3. Student Development
- Enhance students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Organize debates, elocution, drama, poetry recitations, and literary activities.
- Identify slow learners and provide extra support.
4. Administrative Duties
- Participate in school assemblies, events, competitions, and examinations.
- Maintain discipline, decorum, and positive student behaviour.
- Attend staff meetings, training programs, and parent–teacher meetings.
5. Professional Conduct
- Follow school policies, rules, and code of conduct.
- Maintain punctuality, professional behaviour, and confidentiality.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MA) in English.
- B.Ed. mandatory as per CBSE norms.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong command over English language and grammar.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to guide students for board exams.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
- Creative, patient, and student-friendly approach.
