Job Title: High School Hindi Teacher

School Board: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)
Grade Level: Classes 6 to 10
Location: Narayana Etechno School, Madurai
Reports To: Principal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Hindi Teacher to teach high school students (Grades 9 to 12) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students to excel academically and appreciate the Hindi language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Hindi lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus.
  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments as per curriculum requirements.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to support student learning.
  • Conduct periodic assessments, tests, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Prepare students for CBSE board examinations (Class 6 and 10).
  • Promote interest and appreciation for Hindi literature, grammar, and culture.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and departmental meetings.
  • Support and mentor students in academic and extracurricular Hindi-related activities (e.g., debates, poetry recitations, essay writing).
  • Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Stay updated with changes in the CBSE curriculum and integrate new teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.A. / M.A. in Hindi + B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms)
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching Hindi at the high school level in a CBSE-affiliated school
  • Familiarity with CBSE board exam patterns and evaluation techniques
  • Excellent communication skills in Hindi and basic proficiency in English

  • Strong command over Hindi language and grammar
  • Classroom management and student engagement skills
  • Technological proficiency (MS Office, smart boards, online teaching tools)
  • Creativity and the ability to make lessons interactive and enjoyable
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
