Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable PGT History teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in historical studies and a commitment to fostering a stimulating learning environment for students. This role involves teaching advanced history topics, encouraging critical thinking, and inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of historical events and their implications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in PGT History, covering various historical periods and themes.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and discussion.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
• Stay updated on current educational practices and historical scholarship to continually improve teaching methods.

Requirements

• A degree in History or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is desirable.
• Previous experience teaching at the PGT level or equivalent educational settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• A passion for history and an enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with others.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹625,000.00 per year
