PGT Mathematics Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Academic Responsibilities:
• Teach Mathematics in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/IB).
• Prepare and deliver structured and engaging lesson plans that include theory, problem-solving sessions, and practical applications.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and periodic assessments.
• Maintain accurate academic records, report cards, and student progress documentation.
• Curriculum Development & Planning:
• Assist in updating and improving the Mathematics curriculum.
• Integrate modern teaching methodologies and tools to enhance conceptual clarity and student engagement.
• Student Guidance & Support:
• Mentor students in academic and competitive mathematics activities.
• Provide additional support to students who require guidance to achieve their learning goals.
• Co-curricular & Extra-curricular Activities:
• Guide students in Math clubs, Olympiads, and inter-school competitions.
• Organize workshops, seminars, or contests to foster interest in mathematics and logical thinking.
• Professional Development & Collaboration:
• Participate in teacher training programs, workshops, and continuous professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to enhance teaching-learning practices and the overall academic environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or related field.
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is desirable.
• Strong conceptual understanding of Mathematics, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
