Job Description: PGT – Mathematics / Applied Mathematics

Position: PGT Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
Board: CBSE
Classes Handled: XI & XII
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school
Qualification: M.Sc. Mathematics / Applied Mathematics with B.Ed (mandatory)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics / Applied Mathematics for CBSE Class XI & XII as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
• Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based lessons focusing on board exam preparedness.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers in line with CBSE standards.
• Conduct periodic assessments, unit tests, pre-board, and board exam-oriented revisions.
• Analyze student performance and provide remedial coaching where required.
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
• Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and digital tools for effective learning.
• Mentor and guide students for competitive exams wherever applicable.
• Participate in academic meetings, CBSE trainings, workshops, and school events.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Coordinate with the HOD, Principal, and parents for student academic progress.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics.
• Thorough understanding of CBSE examination patterns and evaluation schemes.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle board classes independently with result-oriented teaching.
• Proficient in smart board and digital teaching tools.
• Student-centric approach with mentoring abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
