Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Mathematics to join our team at a reputed State Board School in Mysore. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Mathematics, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to nurturing student potential.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to students of Grades 11 & 12 as per the State Board syllabus.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and concept-oriented lessons.
• Plan assessments, assignments, and projects aligned with curriculum goals.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress.
• Provide remedial support to students when required.
• Maintain student discipline and classroom decorum.
• Coordinate with other teachers and school staff.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree (M.Sc) in Mathematics.
• B.Ed. degree (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PUC or higher secondary level preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Karnataka State Board curriculum.
• Proficiency in English; Kannada knowledge is a plus.
