Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Physics
Department: Science
Grades to Teach: CBSE Grades 10, 11 & 12
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience
Preferred Qualification: Candidates from IIT, NIT, or Central Universities will be given preference.

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Academic Delivery

• Teach Physics to students of Grades 10, 11, and 12 as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and digital resources to support effective classroom teaching.
• Ensure conceptual clarity and develop scientific temper among students.
• Conduct lab sessions, experiments, demonstrations, and practical assessments as required.
• Integrate innovative teaching methodologies including ICT tools, simulations, and inquiry-based learning.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Design question papers, assignments, worksheets, periodic tests, and practice materials.
• Track and assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate academic records.
• Provide constructive feedback to students for continuous improvement.
• Prepare students for board exams, Olympiads, NTSE, JEE (Basics), and other competitive tests (if applicable).

Student Mentorship

• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support sessions.
• Guide and motivate high-performing students to achieve excellence.
• Maintain discipline, encourage curiosity, and create a safe and engaging learning environment.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain lesson plans, lab records, marks registers, and CBSE-related documentation.
• Ensure adherence to school policies, CBSE norms, and examination guidelines.

Collaboration & Professional Conduct

• Work collaboratively with department members and participate in academic planning.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, training programs, and professional development sessions.
• Participate in school events, exhibitions, science fairs, and parent–teacher meetings.

2. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Educational Qualification

• Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Physics or Applied Physics.
• B.Ed. is mandatory as per CBSE norms.
• Candidates from IIT, NIT, or reputed Central Universities preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in CBSE senior secondary level.

Skills Required

• Strong subject knowledge with ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and classroom management.
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools, digital boards, and online platforms.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Strong ethical and professional values.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
