Position: PGT Physics (Grade 11–12 CBSE)
Location: Guru Rajendra Jain International School, Rajgarh, Dhar, Madhya Pradesh
Accommodation: On-campus accommodation with meals provided

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PGT Physics Teacher to teach Grades 11 and 12 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual understanding, excellent practical knowledge, and the ability to make Physics engaging and relatable for senior secondary students preparing for board and competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver well-structured Physics lessons for Grades 11 and 12 as per the CBSE curriculum.
  • Teach core concepts across Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Modern Physics, Optics, Thermodynamics, and other senior secondary topics.
  • Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams such as JEE/NEET, as per school policy.
  • Design and evaluate class tests, assignments, numerical practice sheets, and lab activities.
  • Conduct and supervise practical sessions, ensuring strict adherence to lab safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate experiments, simulations, and real-life applications to enhance conceptual clarity.
  • Maintain accurate lesson plans, student progress records, and assessment data.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to plan interdisciplinary academic initiatives and events.
  • Participate actively in school events, science exhibitions, robotics clubs, and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and SkillsEducation

  • Master’s Degree in Physics with B.Ed (mandatory).

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Grades 11–12 at a CBSE or equivalent institution.

Skills

  • Excellent command over the subject and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts using demonstrations, analogies, and visual tools.
  • Competence in handling laboratory equipment and maintaining lab records.
  • Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns, blueprint design, and board exam preparation techniques.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools, simulations, and smart classroom aids.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to stay on campus and contribute to the residential school atmosphere.
  • Ability to mentor students beyond classroom hours, including supervised study and doubt-clearing sessions.
  • Participation in academic planning, student counseling, and school community-building activities.
