1. Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics or Applied Physics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Preferably CTET/State TET qualified (if applicable).
- Additional certifications in STEM, Robotics, Astronomy, or ICT tools will be an added advantage.
2. Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience as a PGT Physics or equivalent role in a reputed school.
- Experience in preparing students for Board Exams (CBSE/ICSE).
- Experience in conducting physics practicals and managing school laboratories.
- Familiarity with modern teaching aids, smart classes, simulations, and virtual labs.
3. Skills & CompetenciesTeaching Competencies
- Strong command over Class 11 and 12 Physics syllabus.
- Ability to simplify difficult concepts using real-life examples.
- Efficient lesson planning, question paper setting, and evaluation skills.
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in ICT tools, digital boards, and online teaching platforms.
- Ability to use physics simulations (PhET, Virtual Labs, GeoGebra, etc.).
- Knowledge of lab equipment handling and safety procedures.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and classroom management.
- Patience, empathy, and student-friendly approach.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership qualities for guiding students in Olympiads, NTSE, JEE/NEET Foundation.
4. Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to Classes 11 & 12 (and sometimes Class 9–10 when required).
- Prepare lesson plans, daily teaching reports, and maintain academic records.
- Conduct practicals, maintain the Physics Laboratory, and ensure safety.
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, assignments, and conduct assessments.
- Track student progress and provide remedial classes when needed.
- Guide students in Science exhibitions, projects, and competitions.
- Support the school in academic planning, result improvement strategies, and boards readiness.
- Attend parent meetings (PTMs), departmental meetings, and training sessions.
- Maintain discipline, uphold school policies, and contribute to overall school growth.
