PGT Pol & History Teacher

CD International School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Political Science & History to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching, fostering student engagement, and promoting academic excellence. --- Responsibilities: Teach Political Science and History to senior secondary classes (Grades XI–XII) as per CBSE curriculum. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that enhance learning outcomes. Encourage critical thinking, debates, and discussions on historical and political topics. Prepare students for board examinations with thorough subject knowledge and exam strategies. Use innovative teaching methodologies, including digital tools, to enhance classroom learning. Maintain discipline, student records, and regular communication with parents. Contribute to school activities, cultural programs, and academic events. Qualifications & Skills: Master’s Degree in Political Science/History with B.Ed. (mandatory). Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (CBSE preferred). Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
