PGT Psychology & School Counsellor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychology Teacher and School Counselor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, able to engage students in psychological concepts, and provide essential counseling services.

As a Psychology Teacher:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover psychology curricula, including topics like development, cognition, and social behavior.
• Implement various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages students to explore psychological concepts and their applications.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in psychology to integrate into lessons.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to contribute to interdisciplinary projects.

As a School Counsellor:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, social, or academic challenges.
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and tailor counseling strategies accordingly.
• Develop and implement programs that promote mental health awareness and well-being.
• Serve as a liaison between students, parents, and faculty to support student success.
• Maintain confidentiality in all interactions and ensure compliance with school policies regarding student welfare.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as stress management, conflict resolution, and self-esteem.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification and counseling credentials.
• Strong understanding of psychological principles and their application in educational settings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Experience in a school environment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
