Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Verify prescriptions and check for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain and update patient medication records.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and storing medicines.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Support the preparation and labeling of medications.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on patient care.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accuracy in compounding and dispensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Valid pharmacist license/registration as per state or national pharmacy council.
• Strong understanding of pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and drug regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
