Key Responsibilities :
- Review and interpret physician medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Prepare, dispense, and label medications in compliance with hospital policies and regulations
- Monitor patient medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions or adverse effects
- Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and other staff
- Counsel patients and caregivers on proper medication use when required
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and safety standards
- Manage inventory, storage, and handling of medications, including controlled substances
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, D.Pharm) from an accredited institution
- Valid pharmacist license/registration
- Previous hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and clinical therapeutics
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
