Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing drug-related advice to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Experience : Minimum 1 year
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, interactions, and storage.
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide recommendations for dosage or alternative treatments.
- Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation in compliance with local laws and policies.
- Manage inventory of medications and supplies, including ordering and storage.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Stay updated with new medications, treatment protocols, and industry best practices.
- Ensure the pharmacy complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns.
Qualifications:
- B.Pharm/M.Pharm/Diploma in Pharmacy
- Valid pharmacist license from [Insert Regulatory Body, e.g., PCI in India].
- Proven experience as a pharmacist in a retail, hospital, or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and drug safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
